Beast Mode

Listening to a nice dance remix of Toto- Africa right now and i is killer.

What's up for today?  Well nothing really.  Syracuse got KILLED last night and I am not happy.  First I blamed the refs, but they were juust bad all around.  Cuse could have and should have closed the gap after halftime - can't blame the refs for not hitting shots.  What wecan attribute this 14 point loss to, though, is an insane shooting day for g-town.  Just think about this - the hoyas shot 58% for 3 in this game - 12 of 21.  That's insanely good.  Especailly considering that, out of their 16 games, they have only shot over 38% 4 times including this gaem, and 2 of those were against Savannah State and American.  I am not sure they can put up that percentage again during warm-ups.  Gtown averages 74 points a game and drops 88 last night.  Disgusting.

Quick notes on the NFL -  I don't really care who wins out of any of these games.  I don't really HATE any of the teams, except for the Eagles, but I  kind of want to see them succeed so that Donovan McNabb (a Syracuse product) can succeed - and stick it to the terrible Philly fans who have been calling for his head for years.  People complain about NY fans - Philly fans are the aboslute worst when it comes to the what have you done for me lately.  5 NFC championship games in 8 years for McNabb and the Eagles, yet Philly wants his head on a platter.  Absurd.  But outside of that - I don't particularly love or hate the other 3 teams.  I guess I am rooting for a Cardinals-Ravens super bowl as of today.

Gotta hit up one of these Farmers Markets ASAP.

Also, on that list of places to dine in DC is the Dupont Italian Kitchen.

Today is the annversary of the First Super Bowl.

Also, not to get too political, bu people complained so much in 2005 about Bush's inauguration costs.  Estimated at $70m.  And that is too much.  But it is, realistically nothing compared to the $200 M for Obama.  Yet no complaints.  And it's a recession.

And now, I dedicate this next section to my favorites: the infomercial.
